Dr. Plotkin is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client or family based on the concepts that how we think about things greatly impacts how we feel about things and how we perceive the world. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual, couple or family to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Education
Dr. Plotkin has received two masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) and obtained her Doctorate degree from CSPP in 1997. She has completed training from Childrens Hospital LA Division of Adolescent Medicine, Childrens Institute International LA, Child Family Guidance Center, and St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, among others.
